MIAMI.- Former tennis player and model Anna Kournikova was seen publicly this week; however, her reappearance caused concern among fans, as Enrique Iglesias’ partner was captured in Miami sitting in a wheelchair.
“Anna Kournikova went out to the streets of Miami, in the company of the daughters she shares with Enrique Iglesias. What most caught the attention of the former Russian tennis player is that she is wearing an orthopedic boot and a wheelchair,” reported Telemundo, showing an image of the 43-year-old model.
According to the sports media Marca, Kournikova, who was once number eight in the world, was photographed wearing an orthopedic boot and moving around in a wheelchair in the luxurious Bal Harbour shopping center in Miami.
On the other hand, TV Azteca assured that the reappearance occurred on Saturday, January 25, in the parking lot of Bal Harbour.
“The renowned tennis player was captured on Saturday, January 25, at the exit of the luxurious Bal Harbour shopping center in Miami, Florida. A couple of friends helped her move through the parking lot, as can be seen in the images, while Kournikova looks on and chats with her two daughters, Lucy and Mary, 7 and 4 years old respectively,” detailed the Mexican media.
“After two years away from the media, she was captured in the parking lot of the shopping center and, despite the concern that her condition generated, she also awakened the tranquility among her fans when they saw her smiling in the photographs,” added TV Azteca.
