Billie Eilish was attacked by a fan during her concert in Miami

What was supposed to be an unforgettable night in Miami ended up turning into a severe scare for Billie Eilish and her fans. During her performance on Thursday, October 9, at the Kaseya Center, part of the second leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour, the singer was violently pulled by an audience member while greeting fans.

Videos circulating on social media show the 23-year-old artist walking down the aisle in front of the barricade, shaking hands with attendees, when suddenly someone grabbed her tightly and pulled her toward the metal fence. She fell hard against the barrier while other fans in the venue looked on in dismay.

The artist, who has won nine Grammy Awards, managed to free herself immediately, supported by security. Eilish remained composed and continued on her way to greet more fans.

According to NBC News, Miami police confirmed that the individual involved was removed from the venue. However, authorities clarified that “no criminal charges are pending.”

The scare in Miami isn’t the first such incident Billie Eilish has experienced. The “Bad Guy” singer has faced awkward and dangerous situations with the audience before.

In December 2024, during a concert where she was performing her hit “What I Was Made For,” from the Barbie soundtrack, she was hit by a bracelet thrown from the audience. The incident sparked boos from those in attendance.

Despite the object hitting her in the face, the singer didn’t stop her performance and later threw the accessory back into the audience.
During the Barbie 2023 premiere, she told The Hollywood Reporter: “I’ve been getting hit on stage for literally six years. People get emotional, and it can be dangerous.”

“It’s absolutely infuriating when you’re up there. I have mixed feelings about it because I know they’re doing it out of love, and they’re just trying to give you something. You’re in a vulnerable position, but they’ve been throwing things at me for years.”

Billie Eilish will continue her international tour, one of the most anticipated of the year. The Miami show is part of the second leg of the tour, her return to the stage after a brief hiatus.

After the Florida dates—also scheduled for October 11 and 12—she will continue in Orlando and then tour the northeastern United States, concluding on November 23 in San Francisco.

The singer has enlisted talented guest artists for the various stops of the concert series.

According to Rolling Stone, Tom Odell will open the three Miami shows, which began on October 9, while Young Miko will perform on the Orlando, Philadelphia, and Long Island dates.
