The 7 2026 World Cup Matches to be Played at Miami Stadium

Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium will host seven matches of the 2026 World Cup. These include group stage matches, a Round of 16 knockout match, a quarterfinal, and the third-place match.

Florida is one of the 16 cities chosen by FIFA to host the World Cup in the United States, one of the three host countries along with Mexico and Canada.

The first match at Miami Stadium will pit Uruguay, one of South America’s historic national teams, against Saudi Arabia. It will be a key match to begin the fight for qualification to the next round.

Those who couldn’t save up the nearly $5,000 needed for a ticket to one of the seven matches at Hard Rock Stadium have alternative ways to join the celebration.

The central hub of the experience will be Bayfront Park, about 45 minutes from the stadium in Miami Gardens. There, the FIFA Fan Festival Miami takes place, a free event open to the public throughout the tournament, with no prior registration or invitations required.

Options to experience the World Cup in Miami without tickets
For those who prefer more intimate settings or different experiences, numerous bars, restaurants, and public spaces in Miami have joined the football frenzy.

Places like E11EVEN, with its 24-hour parties, and The Clevelander hotel, which projects the matches on more than 20 screens, are among the fans’ favorites. Thus, both residents and visitors can experience the World Cup in multiple venues, not limited to stadium tickets.

The FIFA Fan Festival and its numerous themed parties allow those without tickets to feel part of the celebration, integrating family activities, international cuisine, and shows that reflect the city’s diversity. In this way, the World Cup experience extends to all audiences and corners of Miami.

The festive atmosphere spills over into bars, restaurants, and public spaces, where residents and tourists find alternatives outside the stadium (USA TODAY Sports).

Features and Activities of the FIFA Fan Festival at Bayfront Park
The FIFA Fan Festival Miami will take place from June 13 to July 5 at Bayfront Park, in the heart of the city. The event will feature live broadcasts of all matches on giant screens, interactive soccer experiences, concerts, and shows in an amphitheater with a capacity of 10,000 people.

In addition, there will be a community mural where attendees can leave messages and photos, along with food and beverage stands offering flavors representative of the participating countries.

Admission is free and no registration is required. Designed to accommodate up to 30,000 people per day, the festival offers a family-friendly atmosphere, where visitors are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s jersey and wave flags.
